Who Should Attend
Management of Managers: the Challenge of Leadership is designed for mid- to senior-level managers who are responsible for planning and directing the daily operations of an organisational unit, or whose success depends upon working with other managers or a professional staff. This programme is appropriate for organisations of any size and industry.
Past programme participants have held such positions as chief executive officers, presidents, managing directors, directors and general managers; middle to senior functional managers and technical professionals from a variety of functions; heads in government bodies entrusted with leading new initiatives and projects in their departments.
Application Qualifications and Programme Certification
In order to maintain the high calibre of the participants, the Programme requires that candidates for admission meet certain qualifications:
- Proven maturity and the intellectual ability to comprehend - and the capacity to absorb - advanced level instruction
- A sincere commitment to the intensive study and active discussion that can significantly add value to the Programme
To reap the maximum benefits from the Programme, organisations should nominate those candidates who wish to prepare for increased professional and management roles within their organisations. Participants must be prepared to work diligently, be willing to entertain new ideas and be able to contribute actively to group discussions.
All admitted applicants, who accomplish the minimum standards for attendance, shall receive a certificate from the Michigan Ross School of Business.
